Gospel India Mission(GIM) is a registered non profit organization in the state of Texas USA. The vision of the founders is to assist the spread of gospel in northern states of India. Over the last several decades, much of the gospel work has been confined only to the southern states of India. As a result of this there are numerous churches and pastors in the southern states of India. The scene is different in northern India, the churches are few, pastors ready to work in north India are few. Part of the reason is the lack of economic development in these states. Also adding to that is the persecution that christians face in north Indian states.
The native missionaries from north India struggle to make the ends meet. Most of these pastors only speak their native language, therefore they don't have many opputunities to visit developed countries like USA on fund raising trips, something their south Indian counterparts do a lot.
This NPO was formed to provide financial support to the native missionaries working among the tribals. The financial support would include providing them with a monthly wage, help them build a church and provide them with means of transportation.
