Who We Are 

At the age of 22, the founder of the GOSPEL INDIA MISSION, Santhosh Chellappan, had a confrontation with Jesus when he was actively working as a leader of  Communist  Party, which never believe in the existence of any God.  Its’ motto is to achieve freedom  through WAR.
 
After much struggle and suffering he kept his faith in the Lord, in spite of threat for his life from the political party for which he worked for several years.  Born in a family which was fully committed to follow the Communist Marxist Party,  he had to face rejection from his family too.
 
By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he came to Northern Part of India, where he found Christianity in below 1 % and the burden for the lost soul inspired him to do the work of God among them.
 
Later, along with his co-workers and friends started going to various parts of India to preach and teach from the word of God and as a result many people have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

God has blessed his life with a dedicated and God called woman, Ajita as his wife. She is a teacher in profession. She too have the same vision that of her husband and they are working together for the glory of God in North India.

In the year 2005 December 16th, they received a great blessing in their family life as a baby girl, SANCIA(meaning, sacred, beautiful). Now she is growing by God’s grace. 
 
Together with his wife and daughter, Santhosh is serving the Lord, visiting fields and churches to encourage them with the word of God and strengthen spiritually.
 
Sancia, their daughter is now one year old and they have celebrated her birthday on 16th december 2006 along with thier believers and relatives at their home.  Please pray for Sancia for a long life with a sound health.
 
Now, the Gospel India Mission, a Church Planting Mission Oriented organization with a group of anointed and dedicated God
Called Servants of God is growing spiritually and physically to reach the peole of India with the Love of Christ.
 
God is using The Gospel India Mission to reach thousands of people in  various parts of India to lead them to eternal Kingdom of God.
 
Working in the villages and slums are one of the main targets of GIM, as they are rejected by all means and living without any hope and future.  GIM also taking care of orphan and poor children in various fields, where the GIM has its branch/churches.
 
We request you to please remember the work of GIM in your daily prayers and share about GIM with your friends, church, co-workers and in prayer cells and encourage them to pray and support with their sacrificial financial contribution, for which God will bless you and them too..that is the PROMISE of God.
